FRAZEE — Frank S. Henn, 88, died Wednesday evening at St. Mary’s Hospital in Detroit Lakes.

Mr. Henn was born in New Jersey Dec. 26, 1873, and had lived in the Frazee vicinity since 1907. He was married to Mary Schmitz at the St. Joesph Catholic church near Perham Nov. 4, 1897. She preceded him in death in 1926.

Surviving are three sonds, George of Frazee; Alex of Perham; Leo of Little Falls; and five daughters, Mrs. C. W. (Louise) Bradshaw, Sacramenta; Mrs. O. Ben (Ann) Olson, Barnesville; Mrs. Gordon (Hilda) Nunn, Frazee; Mrs. Ray (Katherine) Katze, Deer Creek; and Mrs. Milo (Madelon) Huntley, Minneapolis; also three sisters, Mrs. Clara Berger and Mrs. Catherine Wokasch, both of Frazee; and Mrs. Elizabeth Alzheimer, Collins, Mont.; and one brother, Carl of Frazee. there are 18 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren left to cherish his memory. One son William died in 1956.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at the Sacred Heart church of which he was a member. The Rev. Fr. Monsignor Adam Junghans will officiate. Rosary will be at eight Friday evening at the Sacred Heart church. Friends may call all day Friday until 7 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Chapel in Frazee. Interment Saturday will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Wokasch’s Funeral Rites Held Here Today

Funeral services were held this afternoon at Fairmont St. John’s E & R church for Mrs. Henry Wokasch, 1017 N. Prairie avenue. She died Friday at Fairmont Community hospital following a stroke suffered the previous day.

Amanda M. Elfert was born Feb. 9, 1885, at Elkander, Ia., coming to Rutland township as a child with her parents, William and Bertha Elfert.

She was married to Henry Wokasch March 1, 1904 at the West Rutland church. They farmed until 1921 when they moved to Fairmont.

Surviving are her husband and one son, Elmer, of Fairmont. There ae two grandchildren. Five sisters are Mrs. Joe Wokasch, Mrs. Tom Wokasch, Mrs. Herbert Malo, Mrs. Lenore Hoppe, all of Fairmont, and Mrs. Claude Curry of Portland, Ore.

Services at 2pm today were conducted by the Rev. Harry Stroessner, pastor of St. John’s and burial was in Fairmont Fairview Memorial park. Olson funeral home of Fairmont was in charge of arrangements.

Services were today (Thursday) at 10 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Frazee with Fr Stephen Wagmann, OSB, officiating.

Catherine Henn was born at St. Joe in Ottertail County on December 19, 1886 the daughter of George and Maria Henn and moved with her parents to the Frazee area as a young girl. She married Ignatz Wokasch at Frazee on May 10, 1910. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and of the St. Anne’s Society and Christian Mothers.

She is survived by seven children: George of Frazee, Joe and Clara of Minneapolis, Ignatious of Sedona, AZ, Catherine O’Toole of Minneapolis and Julian and Norbert of Colorado Springs, CO and by 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Leo.

Pallbearers at Thursday’s services were James Anderson, Paul Joachim, Richard Adams and John Hozel. The organist was Joan Korzendorfer and the vocalists were the Paradise Singers. Arrangements were made by the Furey Funeral Home of Frazee, MN.

George A. Henn passed away at his home in this city Thursday morning, March 6, 1924 at the age of 82 years and eight months. Mr. Hebb was a native of Germany, was born in 1842, coming to America in 1870 where he was married to Miss Mary Walter. The family lived at different points in New Jersey, Pennsylvannia, Ohio, and Indiana and at Milwaukee, leaving the latter city for Minnesota in 1880 and locating at Perham where the family resided until 1907 when they came to Frazee. His wife died in October, 1922, and one daughter, Mrs. Helen Aldrich Brooks died in Milwaukee in 1909. Mr. Henn had been in poor health for a number of years and a few days ago caught a bad cold which immediately developed into pneumonia, and caused his death.

He is survived by two sons, and four daughters, Frank S. and Carl A. Hem, Mrs. Ignatz
Wokasch and Miss Clara Henn of Frazee, Mrs. Ed Alzheimer, Collins, Mont., and Mrs. Wm. Schultz, Ogema, Sask., also one brother, V. Henn of Perhem and one sister who lives in Germany.

The funeral was held at the Sacred Heart Catholic church Monday morning at 9 o’clock,
Rev. Fr. Adam Junghams reading the Requiem High Mass. interment in the family lot in
Sacred Heart cemetery.
