SERVICES HELD FOR LEO WOKASCH, 49

Leo Wokasch, 49, a lifetime resident of Frazee, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 1968, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Detroit Lakes after a long illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Frazee. Rev. Fr. Joseph Mulvey read the Requiem MAss at 9 am. Burial was made at the church cemetery. Pallbearers were James Boltz, James Mayer, John Gotschy, Leonard Schrandt, Pete Riewer and Paul Joachim.

Mr. Wokasch was born at Frazee April 9, 1919. He never married. He worked at the Lakeland Turkey Plant here until 1967 when illness forced his retirement.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Church of Frazee and of Knights of Columbus Council 3166 at Detroit Lakes.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Catherine Wokasch, Frazee; five brothers and two sisters, Norbert of Frazee; Ignatius and Julian of St. Paul; George, Joe, Clara and Catherine (Mrs. Leonard O’Toole), all of Minneapolis, and 15 nieces and nephews. — (Furey Funeral Home)
